Coaching legend Udo Lattek suffers from Parkinson's disease
Udo Lattek, 78, has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. He needs a wheelchair and a home nurse. His wife Hildegard has now told by the health of
the legendary football coach. The former football coach Udo Lattek, 78, is
seriously ill. His wife Hildegard
told the "Bild" newspaper that he was suffering from Parkinson's
disease. "If my Udo has lain
a few days, he needs a wheelchair." Hildegard Lattek her husband had picked up on
Sunday morning after a five-day hospital stay from the St. Elisabeth Hospital
in Cologne and returned to their shared home. "My Udo
stays with me." A home nurse
they support it, to care for her husband. "There
are days when Udo's state of mind is very unsteady." Udo Lattek had
reportedly suffered a slight attack of weakness on Tuesday and was therefore
admitted to the hospital. He has
long been struggling with health problems. In
2001 and 2012 he was operated on the brain - was caused by a benign tumor. Three years ago he also suffered a
stroke.
