01 meter long-Ballot voting paper-magnifying glasses to read the letters

is reported that the it is voters are going to be given magnifying
glasses to the at the polling stations at the election of Victoria frontier
election. It says that 40,000 of such glasses have already been
ordered. This is to read the ballot voting paper of 01 meter long which
has been printed in small letters.
For the election there are candidates from 57 parties as well as from independent candidates contesting. These names are printed on a 01 meter long paper with small letters. Australian authorities say that this is the longest voting ballot paper which has been ever printed to be used.
These magnifying glasses are given to the voters to enable them to read the ballot voting paper. An Election Commission officer Steve Kennedy pointed out that apart from the total expenditure for the election, there will be a addition cost more than USD 15,000 for these magnifying glasses.
He said that in future it will be considered to print the ballot voting paper in a separate method to enable the voters to read them easily and thereby minimizing the cost.
