A suspected
American drone strike has killed four alleged
militants in the country’s north-western tribal areas. The intelligence
officials say the strike happened Monday morning in the town of in Datta Khel
in
North Waziristan. They didn’t have exact information on which group the
militants belonged to but said the area is dominated by fighters of warlords
Hafiz Gul Bahadur and the Haqqani network. Both groups are known to carry out
attacks against
NATO troops in neighbouring Afghanistan. It was the second
drone strike in as many days. A strike Sunday in the tribal areas killed three
militants.
