The German Army has Poland occupied. The
Sudeten German businessman Oskar Schindler has recognized the signs of the
times and the Wehrmacht followed to Krakow. In
the chaos of the Second World War, the pragmatic and profit-oriented
adventurers will try to establish himself as a big business in Poland. In his enamel factory, he wants to
hire only Jewish workers who work much cheaper than the Polish employees. Thanks to sophisticated tactics,
bribes and the help of the Jewish manager Itzhak Stern, his plan goes on: His
factory is thriving, and its close contacts with the Nazi leaders in the city,
he can sell his products easily. But
one day all his Jewish workers from the Krakow Ghetto are deported to the labor
camp Plaszow, Schindler and suddenly there is no labor. In order not to jeopardize its sales,
Schindler exerts enormous pressure on the camp leader Amon Goeth, a merciless
slave-out. His intervention is

change in Oskar Schindler: More and more, the full extent of his well-planned
extermination of the Jews is aware. He
decides to save as many people as possible before the machinery of destruction. However, with the collapse of the
Eastern Front in the autumn of 1944, the situation for Schindler's workers
escalates further, because all the remaining Jews in Poland should be brought
to Auschwitz. Well Schindler
grows beyond itself: Targeted bribery succeed him to buy a factory in domestic
and Sudetenland to switch production to the production of cartridge cases. But for the important war production
needs Schindler cheap labor - its Jews. Its
managing director and chief accountant Itzhak Stern puts together a list of the
names of 1,100 people, to be marketed as "Schindler Jews" in his
factory to the Sudetenland. Although
