Saudi Arabia beheads Pakistani man
Saudi Arabian authorities have beheaded another Pakistani
national over alleged charges of drug trafficking, amid rising concerns about
the growing number of executions in the kingdom. According to Saudi
Interior Ministry, the man was found guilty of attempting to smuggle an
undisclosed amount of heroin in the region. The man, who has not yet been
named, was beheaded in eastern city of Dammam on Tuesday. Rape, murder,
apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under
the Saudi rule.
